Vukota Capital Management Opens Los Angeles Office and Hires Three Key Executives

LOS ANGELES, CA – Vukota Capital Management (“VCM”) today announces its expansion of operations and market reach with the opening of its West Coast office in Los Angeles and the appointment of three key executives. Joining the firm in Los Angeles are Paul E. Slye as President of VCM Real Estate, and Wilbur F. Lin as Senior Vice President of VCM Real Estate. In Denver, VCM welcomes Paul B. Evans as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer.
Paul Slye has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry and will oversee the Los Angeles office and VCM’s Real Estate business. Prior to joining VCM, Mr. Slye was a co-founder and principal of Brentwood Capital Partners (“BCP”), a California-based boutique real estate investment, development, and management firm. Earlier in his career, Mr. Slye was a Director of AEW Capital Management with responsibility for the management of equity investments in public and private companies. Mr. Slye earned a Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and is an active member of numerous educational fundraising entities. In addition, Mr. Slye sits on the board of directors for the Westside YMCA, Echo Horizon School, John Tracy Clinic, and St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church.
Wilber Lin also joins VCM from BCP, where he served as Senior Vice President. In his new position, Mr. Lin will be responsible for asset management, financial analysis, and underwriting of prospective acquisitions. Prior to BCP, Mr. Lin was Senior Asset Manager at Gilmore Associates where he oversaw the firm’s stabilized and development portfolio. Mr. Lin received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Paul Evans will spearhead VCM’s legal activities, regulatory matters, compliance, risk management, and the overall operating coordination of its various business functions. Previously, Mr. Evans operated his own firm specializing in providing legal operations, corporate tax matters, and business development services to real estate investment clients. Mr. Evans earned a BA from the University of Northern Colorado and his JD and LLM from the University of Denver.
